We’ve all been there: you’ve just converted your hard earned FIAT into Ethereum and have suddenly become positively obsessed with refreshing your exchange, your wallet or Blockfolio.
What we’re coining as being “F5 Fever” is easy to fall into, and these Redittors have had enough. Utilising various hardware components some have created small table side devices that tell them the exact price of Ethereum.

Above, created using an ESP8826 module. The device receives data, displays the number and then sleeps for two minutes. It wakes when necessary and displays the value, then sleeps again to conserve power.
Above, a little more advanced. This one utilises a Raspberry Pi with home automation software to send dates and prices via the Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) and display the price if it has changed.
